The Three Crosses, Version 2

This is an alternate version of "The Three Crosses" a drypoint by the Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn, which depicts the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Most of his prints are mainly in etching and this one is a drypoint with burin adjustments since the third state. It is considered "one of the most dynamic prints ever made"

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn was a Dutch draughtsman, painter and print-maker. An innovative and prolific master in three media, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history.
