This queenly representation of the Immaculate Conception pictured with the Holy Ghost above her and crushing the serpent underneath her is a must have for any Catholic Home. This was one of seven altarpieces commissioned for the San Pascual Bailón at Aranjuez in 1767. The Church was founded by Charles III of Spain in the same year. This was a church belonging to the Franciscan order known for their devotion and the spreading of the Devotion to the Immaculate Conception.

Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, (born March 5, 1696, Venice [Italy]—died March 27, 1770, Madrid, Spain), great Italian painter of the 18th century. His luminous, poetic frescoes, while extending the tradition of Baroque ceiling decoration, epitomize the lightness and elegance of the Rococo period.
