This tender, yet magnificent Annunciation hangs in the Musei Capitolini in Rome, Italy and was painted by Benvenuto Tisi or "Il Garofalo" Garofalo was a nickname for Tisi as a topographical reference to "somebody who lived where carnations grew" due to his common artistic signature of carnations in his works.
