Live with the Saints!

I’ve spent my morning cup of coffee today looking at the two latest additions to my collection of canvas wrapped paintings. One of St. George and the other of St. Catherine. They’ve been hanging in my living room now for two weeks and I can say they’ve certainly elevated my breakfast routine. In the early morning silence that exists before my day is interrupted by the world and minutia of the daily grind, I now start with the serene gaze of St. Catherine holding her wheel and St. George slaying a dragon.

It certainly puts my day in perspective and slowly as the silence is filled with thoughts that come from looking at these two images I am filled with confidence. What foes I face today, whatever battle I must fight when the light of the sun has filled the sky, I have the example of the Dragon Slayer and the serenity of a martyr in mind. Come what may!
